This excursion starts with a drive to and a photo stop at the famous Enclosing Dike, a fabulous example of Dutch engineering craftsmanship of the 1930s. We will then continue to the picturesque town of Medemblik where we will visit a working windmill and make a guided walk through town.
One of the absolute highlights of this excursion will be our trip on board an historical steamtrain to the beautiful "Zuiderzee" town of Hoorn. After a short walking tour in Hoorn you will have some free time, before we return to Amsterdam.
