Tana Toraja - 3 days / 2 nights

Day 1 Makassar/ Pare Pare/ Toraja
Upon arrival at Hasanuddin Airport, our guide will meet you and take you directly to Toraja Land. An approximate eight hours drive through villages where you will see magnificent views of mountains and the natural countryside. Lunch will be served at a seafood restaurant in Pare Pare before continuing the journey to Toraja Land. Arrive in Rantepao by late afternoon. Check into hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 Toraja Excursion
Breakfast at hotel. One full day will be set aside for an excursion through Toraja Land. The highlight of this region includes the ancient stone grave at Lemo and Londa where bodies of the dead are placed in holes carved into rocky cliffs or inside natural caves according to the traditional animistic rituals that are still performed today as they have done from generations to generations. In addition, you will see traditional Toraja Houses at Kete Kesuk and Pallawa. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Any traditional ceremonies or funerals that can be reached by foot will also be included.

Day 3 Toraja/ Pare Pare/ Airport
After an early breakfast, depart Toraja Land to board your flight to Makassar. Journey down the same mountain path with a refreshment stop at Puncak Lakawan and lunch in Pare Pare. There will be ample time for you to check-in your luggage.

After you book

What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible.
