River Kwai Jungle - Boat and Elephant Ride - 3 days

Day 1 Bangkok-Kanchanaburi
Pick-up from various Bangkok hotels and drive from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi, to visit the JEATH War Museum and the War Cemetery of Allied Prisoners of WWII, then see the world-famous ”Bridge over the River Kwai”. Board the train (11:00) on the original Death Railway Train for an one-hour journey to Wang Po station, passing over the dangerously looking wooden viaduct. Arrival at Wang Po station. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we continue our trip by taking an exiting long-tail boat from the Resotel boat pier, passing beautiful, unspoiled scenery of jungle and mountain ranges along the Kwai Noi River. We arrive at the River Kwai Jungle Rafts, check-in at the rafts and visit the nearby-located ethnic Mon Tribal Village. Dinner at the resort, followed by traditional Mon Dance, performed by the villagers. Overnight at the rafts.

Day 2 Kanchanaburi
Breakfast. Make a boat ride upstream to the Saiyoke National Park, to visit the Saiyoke Yai Waterfall surrounded by a teak wooden forest and experience the natural beauty at its best. We return to the Jungle rafts for a Thai lunch. After lunch, we head on to make a one hour trip on the back of an elephant ride, straight through bamboo forests and dense vegetation. In the late afternoon, check out and transfer to the River Kwai Resotel by long tail boat over the Kwai Noi River. Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Day 3 Kanchanaburi - Bangkok
Breakfast. Early morning we walk in the jungle area and start climbing up to the Lawa Cave to explore unimaginative shapes of stone formation. We return back to the resort to have lunch. Check out of the resort and transfer back from the main boat pier and continue overland back to Bangkok. Drop off at your booked Bangkok hotel (not included in the package).
(Hotel in Bangkok is not included / transfer to airport will be at additional charge)

- The River Kwai Jungle Rafts have simple accommodation on floating rafts and do not have electricity nor hot water. An oil lamp is provided in rooms.
- Rates for triple rooms are equal as those mentioned for the sharing twin/double room except for River Kwai Jungle Rafts, where triple rooms are not available
- Hotel’s early check in (before noon), late check out (after noon), connecting rooms and adjoining rooms are not guaranteed
- No refund for unused services, splitting of package is not allowed

- The River Kwai Jungle Rafts have no electricity, no warm water and no air-conditioning. Traditional, simple resort, built on bamboo rafts and floating on the Kwa Noi River at around 80 kilometers north from Kanchanaburi. All rooms do have standard, private bathroom/toilet. Please be advised about the set-up of the River Kwai Jungle Rafts
- This tour requires at least 2 persons.

What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible.
