4 Days River Kwai Sangkhlaburi and The Three Pagoda Pass - Private tour

Day 1 Bangkok-Kanchanaburi-Sangkhlaburi
07:00 Pick up from your Bangkok city hotel. Drive to Kanchanaburi for visit of the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai. We also stop at the JEATH War Museum and visit the War Cemetery. Board the train at 10:50 and make a one and a half hour train ride over the original Death Railway up to Thamkrasae. Here we have lunch at a local restaurant and some leisurely time to visit the temple in the cave. We drive further down and stop the Nam Tok waterfall. Continue to Sangkhlaburi for two night stay in a simple and clean resort and set dinner.

Day 2 Sangkhlaburi
Breakfast. Make a boat ride on the lake passing the “sunken temple” (visibility subject to tide) to the elephant camp. A tranquil elephant trekking (1½ hours) brings you through the scenic jungle. Along the riverbank we have a simple picnic lunch before starting another exciting bamboo rafting. Be prepared that you will be wet! After one hour rafting, we return to the camp and board the boat back to the village. Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Day 3 Sangkhlaburi-Kanchanaburi (Kwai Noi)
Breakfast. Wake up in another world and make a visit of the village: walk the wooden Mon bridge and visit the Mon style Wat Wangwiwekaram. Continue to the border with Burma at the Three Pagoda Pass, a memorial of the former Burmese invasion route, where now local trading is handled. We leave Sangkhlaburi and have a simple lunch en route at a local restaurant. A visit is also made at the Hell Fire Pass Memorial, reminding us the construction of the Burma Railway Track, and with a short hike we reach a part of the railway track that was cut through a mountain during WWII. Continue to our resort for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 Kwai Noi River - Bangkok
Breakfast. Enjoy the morning of the nature and depart to Nakhon Pathom for visit of the biggest pagoda in Southeast Asia: the Phra Pathom Chedi. After lunch en route at a local restaurant, we proceed back to Bangkok and drop you off at your Bangkok hotel around 17:00.
(Hotel in Bangkok is not included / transfer to airport will be at additional charge)

That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible.
