This tour was a good value for money.

Our morning tour, with Jorge, was excellent. He is a wonderful and attentive guide. The only part of the morning tour that I disliked was the stop at the end at the Spanish Village Park. It was like a mini version of Epcot and really was a waste of time. As for the afternoon portion of the trip, I would have liked more time in the Guell Park. Actually it would have been better to do that as part of the morning trip when it probably wouldn't have been so crowded. The trip to Sagrada Familia was little more than a drive by and the price of this trip should have included entrance. Our guide, Montserrat, was rude and candesending when responding to some questions. She seemed in a hurry to get the tour over. As the bus whizzed past the Arc de Triomf, she didn't even bother to point it out. My husband had to ask her about it. Afterall, it was a city tour and should have been noted. In conclusion, this was a pricey tour for what we actually got. However, I would recommend it only for a city orientation, which was why we took it at the beginning of our stay in Barcelona.

it was a foggy day and we could not see anything about the scenery. the cog-wheel train is not really a recommendation though.

I would advise that the tour guide state that you can see the Black Virgin from within the Basilica to save time and allow us to explore more in the alloted time...apart from that it was wonderful and the tour guide was great...

This is a GREAT tour for visitors on a short stay or for those who may want to explore many of the sightseeing options and activites in order to get ideas about what they might enjoy further on their own after the tour.
The tour guide was exceptional!! Plus, you'll never get lost from the group with the orange umbrella as your becon!

We did the full day Gaudi and Highlights Tour and it was fantastic. Jessica was our tour guide and she was wonderful. She spoke fluent English and she was quite knowledgeable of Gaudi and the sights of Barcelona. If you go to Barcelona be sure to book this tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour the only negative point was that it was occassionally difficult to understand the guide and her directions.

We have recommended the tour to relatives who will be in the area. I think the afternoon format was great. PS..why not have your directions read: Look for the guides holding the orange umbrellas. We went to the square the night before to look for umbrellas and find the meeting place.

I went on my own. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and Adrian our guide was great. There were only 6 of us in a mini-bus, 3 Urugyan pensioners and one NZ lady,me and Adrian our guide. Great fun and company. However the fact that it was a mini-bus was not mentioned in my paperwork but the mini bus was a pleasant surprise and I would travel in a small group again. Excellent.

Adrian Was a most charming and well informed guide. We were four seniors with varying stmina and abilities. Adrian was able to guide us to a wide variety of things that we could do. All of us were able to enjoy Monserrat accoding to our own abilities. Adrian at our concurrance took us to the most fabulous country restaurant for lunch...we were just so impressed and had a marvelous time and enjoyed great food. We then went to Colonia Guell and throughly enjoyed Adrian's insights into Guell as a patron of Gaudi. Adrian gave us a choiceof going back to our hotel orbeing left at Parc Guell. We opted to go to our hotel. it was nice to have the choice. (We went to Parc Guell the next day). As a final help Adrian recommended a great book on gaudi's life (at our request) We all bought a copy as there was a bookshop right near our hotel. We all totally enjoyed the book...a really comprehensive social history and biography. It was in paperback and short. We all read it and had time to discuss it before leaving Barcelona. A really first rate experience all around. totally recommended!
