What To Expect
From your hotel about one hour driving, you get to the Ming Tombs, one of the world heritage sites in Beijing. There you will visit Changling Tomb, the biggest and best preserved one of the 13 tombs especially famous for the biggest wood structure, totally made of Nanmu, a kind of antique wood from the Ming Dynasty (AD1368-1644). After a Chinese lunch at the restaurant inside the famous Longdi Jade Factory, you drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the most beautiful sections in Beijing, outstanding for its magnificent fighting towers along the wall, green trees and colorful flowers. If you like, you can take the cable car to the highest point to overview the whole scenery of this unbelievable military structure. On the way back you have a chance to see the Cloisonne, one of the famous local arts and crafts.
