Chocolate Walking Tour in Brussels

For the love of tasting them, for the desire of touching them, for the art of making them... It is in Belgium that the idea of a little chocolate shell filled with delicious creams, ganaches, marzipan and other pralines is born. Whatever the Swiss or anyone else might say to the contrary, Belgian chocolates are the champs, they are so lethally addictive that they ought to be sold with a government health warning.

We learn you how to make them yourself through a fun workshop by a master "chocolatier." Orangettes, pralines, Easter eggs... they will not have any secrets anymore for you. Made with real cream or alcoholic filling, they do not keep well, but then, you weren't planning on keeping them for long anyway, were you?

We take you on a walk through and around the Grand'Place area and help you orient in the heart of the old city. We will see Manneken-Pis, the oldest citizen of Brussels, the square of the Sablon filled with antique shops, the Royal Galleries being the seat for the oldest chocolate shop Neuhaus. Boulevard Anspach is home to a number of fashion boutiques and chocolate shops and Ilot Sacre, a jumble of streets and passages, houses restaurants with outdoor terraces where street musicians provide a noisy ans colorful atmosphere.
