What To Expect
Start off the tour at the iconic French-style coffee house on Avenida de Mayo. Learn about the origins and history of tango in this cafe considered to be one of the most traditional bars in the city.
From there, go through the tango tradition - and yes, even a few secret codes! - over a drink, and prepare to immerse yourself in the world of the milongueros (tango dancers). Then, once you're ready, head toward a milonga tango hall in town; a dance hall where locals go to sharpen up their skills (and maybe you'll be inspired to try some tango steps yourself!). Finish our tango tour there, where you can take a seat, grab a drink and watch Argentinian life unfold as the night goes on.
