After being picked up from Cairns hotel, Hides Hotel or Green Ant Cantina, travel to the high elevation rainforest of the stunning Atherton Tablelands.
Visit the majestic Lake Eacham, an extinct volcanic crater formed 12,000 years ago. Take a dip at the crystal clear waters before feasting on a morning tea prepared by your guide.
Marvel at the excellent view of the of the North Johnstone River, Douglas Creek and mountain ranges at the Crawford's Lookout, a clearing through the forest trees which provides amazing photo opportunity.
Enjoy a refreshing swim at the lovely Millaa Millaa Falls, a magnificent waterfalls surrounded by lush rainforest located at the Waterfalls Circuit.
After lunch, stop at the World Heritage Listed Mount Hypipamee National Park and visit the Crater, a deep, cylindrical volcanic pipe with a lake at the bottom. Then, enjoy a leisurely dip at the Dinner Falls, a series of cascades plunging out of the rainforest onto a boulder-strewn creek below.
After a lovely afternoon tea, take a short walk to the Josephine Falls, a breathtaking section of the Wooroonooran National Park. Have fun splashing around as you slide down a natural water slide over smooth rocks and into the deep pool of crystal clear water below.
You will also stop at the Cathedral Fig Tree, a gigantic 500-year old tree, and is deemed as the best place to hear singing birds in the Atherton Tablelands.
