Cairo belongs to the Pharaohs. But it also belongs to Islam and to Coptic Christianity. Cairo is so vast that it’s really impossible to see everything in just two days. Our 2-day itinerary allows you to get a glimpse though of this ancient city’s different faces.
Day 1
Islamic & Coptic Cairo
Discover Islamic and Coptic sites, from citadels to churches. These include the Salah El Din Citadel, Mohamed Al Mosque, Al Gowhara Palace, and Ibn Tulun Mosque, a Roman Fortress, the Hanging Church, and the Coptic Museum. Choose a fabulous way to end the day, by enjoying a night on the Nile on board a cruise boat, being entertained by belly dancers.

Day 2
Tombs & Pyramids of the Pharaohs
A trip to Egypt without seeing the pyramids is a trip to Egypt wasted. So join an excursion to the Pyramids at Giza. Gaze into the enigmatic face of the Great Sphinx, visit some temples, and marvel over the Statue of Ramses II. An alternative day trip outside Cairo is paying a visit to the Valley of the Kings and Queens in Luxor.

"Very professional guide and driver, thank you! Research what to do at each place and request it when booking. Our guide knew we wanted to see the solar boat, go inside the great pyramid and also do a camel ride. The camel ride was great, it lasted about 20 minutes and we rode thru the desert toward the pyramids. If you go in Mar/April, it is very windy, so prepare for sand in your eyes, etc. A scarf works wonders! Bring your own water, and best bet for lunch is the pizza hut, as there is nothing much in Memphis or Sakkara. Pizza hut has a decent restroom, and a wonderful view of the pyramids, quick service(in low season) and adequate food. If you don't want to be taken to shops, just state that in your reservation notes and your guide will oblige. VERY SATISFIED with everything about this company!!"
