Sri Lanka Highlight Tour - 6 days / 5 nights

Day 1 ARRIVAL TRANSFER AIRPORT / COLOMBO

Meet and greet on arrival by Tour East representative and transfer to Colombo.
Check in at Hotel.
Afternoon proceed on a City Tour of Colombo.
Return to Hotel for Dinner and overnight at the Galadari Hotel


Day 2 COLOMBO / POLONNARUWA / SIGIRIYRA

Breakfast at hotel.
Leave for Sigiriya enroute visit Polonnaruwa the second capital of Sri Lanka in the 11th and 12th centuries and visit the Lankatilleke, Thuparama and Gal Vihare and also see the remains of the Royal Palace and Parakrama Samudra a huge man made water reservoir. Continue to Sigiriya check in at the Sigiriya Village Hotel for Dinner and overnight stay.


Day 3 SIGIRIYA / DAMBULLA / KANDY

Breakfast at hotel.
Followed by a visit to Sigiriya Rock Fortress and having climbed the rock you will encounter the remains of the Palace and its environs.
Enroute to Kandy visit the Dambulla Rock Cave Temple and then Visit a Spice Garden Matale before arriving in Kandy.
Check in at the Amaya Hills Hotel In the afternoon visit the Temple of the Tooth and witness a Kandyan Cultural Dance will be performed.
Return to the Amaya Hills for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 4 KANDY / NUWARA ELIYA

Breakfast at Hotel.
Take the Upper Lake Drive and then visit to the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya. Also visit the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela. Then visit a Tea Plantation and see women lucking the ‘Green Gold’ tea leaves and a factory whilst en route to Nuwara Eliya.
Late afternoon tour of Little England.
Dinner and overnight at Grand Hotel.


Day 5 NUWARA ELIYA / YALA

Breakfast and departure for Yala.
Afternoon visit to Yala National park or Bundala Wildlife Park. See a vast array of animals including deer, peacock, elephant, wild buffalo and the lucky visitors may get to see a leopard or bear.
Check in at the Elephant Reach hotel for Dinner and overnight stay.


Day 6 YALA / GALLE / COLOMBO

Breakfast and visit of Galle Dutch Fort.
Return to Colombo or transfer to Airport or drop off at Beach Extension Hotel of your choice.

That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible.
