Castle Tour of North Sealand

We follow the coastline of Sweden as we leave Copenhagen and head north. We drive through magnificent Danish countryside and coastline to Elsinore and Kronborg Castle.

Discover why William Shakespeare chose Elsinore Castle as the setting for his famous play 'Hamlet' when you see the beautiful surroundings and feel the atmosphere through the Chapel and the Knights' Hall (the longest room in Northern Europe) and the dark casemates.

We will have time for lunch en route. After the break, our tour continues to Fredensborg, the Queen's summer residence, attractively located in the middle of a lovely park bordering the idyllic Esrom lake. We then proceed to Frederiksborg Castle, built by King Christian IV. This pearl of history, biult in magnificent Renaissance style, is now a national historical museum containing paintings, tapestries, porcelain, silver and furniture of great historical value.

This tour is the classic amongst excursions while visiting Denmark.

That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible.
