What To Expect
Walking along the Inganan or Inca Trail is a walk through the past of the Indian Cultures. Nowadays it is possible to walk part of this ancestral trail from the Culebrillas Lagoon to Ingapirca in just one day.
We leave early in the morning to the Culebrillas Lagun, where we start on an hour hike until we get to the Inca Ruins of Paredones. Located on the highest part of the lagoon, then we walk through the Inca Trail to a small Cañari town called San Jose, for approximately three hours. This is the most preserved and defined part of the trail in Ecuador. Then we'll have lunch.
In the afternoon we will visit the archeological site of Ingapirca before returning to Cuenca.
