What To Expect
Enter the world of glaciers with an otherworldly view that will leave your cares frozen in time! This excursion to the Grand Glacier and the rest of Patagonia's glaciers is one you will never forget. Most glaciers are receding due to the effects of global warming- this may be one of your last opportunities to witness the wonderful beauty of icy nature. Taking the old Estancia route, pass by the beautiful Roca Lake. Stop by the Estancia Nibepo Aike, an impressive example of Patagonian architecture and rural life. Afterwards, embark on a boat that navigates through the south arm of the Argentinian lake. Take a walk to the Frias Lake, then take a mortorized rubber boat accross it to hike to the Grand Glacier. Here you will enter a world of ice! Hike in to the valley of glaciers and their ever-changing environment. Some glaciers are hanging, and some feed into lagoons. Take photos of the panoramic view and afterwards, have lunch on site with a backdrop of the Cube and Dickson Glaciers.
