What To Expect
You can scratch "Trekking Patagonia" off your bucket list after this tour. Join our expert guides, and let us show you the mountains that make up the area. Once the day is over, you will understand why El Chalten is called the "Trekking Capital of the World."
Explore the Cerro Torre located next to Mount Fitz Roy. We will follow the river to our summit, passing waterfalls and the Fitz Roy Rio Canyon. Eventually the beauty of area will begin to unfold. You will experience incredible views of the glaciers of the Cerro de Torre and the Adelas cord. Depending on how one is feeling, the trek can end here and we can turn back, or we can continue on to the Base Camp de Agostini, where the elite climbers prepare to climb the tower.
Along this trek, you will experience first-hand what makes Patagonia so legendary. We will get to see the glaciers of the Adelas cord, the Bifida, Standhard, and the needles of Egger to name a few. If that isn't enough for you - and if you have the energy! - the trek can be extended to visit the famous Mirador Maestri, which forms a natural balcony along the glaciers and Laguna Torre.
Afterwards, we will make our way back down the mountain and return to your hotel.
