What To Expect
Explore around the Accademia Gallery where you will get to stand up close to world famous Italian artworks that you've only seen through pictures before. What makes this art gallery different from the rest is that not only does it house Michelangelo's David sculpture, but also a small collection of his other drawings and sculptures such as the unfinished Prisoners sculpture, the I Prigioni, the San Matteo, and the Palestrina Pieta.
Marvel at the sight of the 15th and 16th century Florentine Paintings from Italian artists including Andrea del Darto, Domenico Ghirlandaio, and Paolo Uccello. You may also get a glimpse of the original plaster of the popular The Abduction of the Sabine Women sculpture. Feast your eyes on the fine selection of Byzantine triptychs (work of art divided into 3 sections) and several antiquated altar pieces taken from various parts of the country.
You may add options to this tour:
Option 1: Aperitif with view of the Piazza del Duomo
