The day starts with a walking tour of the historical center of the city and an in-depth tour of Michelangelo’s “David.” Join the discussions on the ideas of the Renaissance, the lives of famous artists, the Medici family and how life changed forever during this epic period in Florence’s history.

Take time to admire the Ponte Vecchio and learn the history of the oldest surviving bridge crossing the river Arno. As we enter the piazza della Signoria, after admiring Vasari's Corridor from the exterior, we'll enter Medieval Florence & Dante's old neighborhood. Then, we'll encounter a series of breathtaking examples of Renaissance architecture as we arrive at Cathedral square to admire Brunelleschi's Dome, Giotto's Bell Tower, and at the Baptistery Ghiberti's "Gates of Paradise".

After the walking tour, visit the Accademia Gallery, home to Florence’s most treasured work of art—Michelangelo’s “David.” Take in the beauty of this work of art without waiting in line. After enjoying an in-depth discussion of the sculpture, move on to admire “Slaves,” a series of magnificent sculptures of original captives of the stone, also by Michelangelo.

That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible.
