What To Expect
Meet our guide at the meeting point in the afternoon and take the chance to enjoy a 3-hour guided tour to the Uffizi gallery, with reserved entrance that enables you to skip the usually long lines. From the Uffizi inside, the doors of the Vasari corridor will be opened EXCLUSIVELY for our VISIT .
A private and exclusive walk along the Vasari corridor will take you back to the Medici times: Cosimo I and his wife walking along their private path from one side of the town to the other, observing crowds while hidden from the public eye. The architect Giorgio Vasari, built a path that would allow him and the Royal family to move freely from their residence Palazzo Pitti to the government palace Palazzo della Signoria, other side of the river Arno.
The corridor passes over the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio, by the houses and through a church where you can admire the view from the Royal Family's private balcony and into the gardens of Palazzo Pitti. Take the opportunity to see the greatest collection of Europe's self-portrait, including the paintings of important artists.
With a skip the line service, get a chance to see all the notable masterpieces of the gallery such as Leonardo's spectacular works of art. Learn about the interesting history and highlight of the Vasari Corridor from the knowledgeable English-speaking guide.
The tour ends at the end of the Vasari Corridor, just outside the Boboli Garden gates and next to Palazzo Pitti. It will finish around 18:00-18:30
From the 1st of December the Vasari corridor will be closed for restoration work thefore the tour will only include a walking tour of the vasari corridor from outside. Customers will still enjoy an extended guided tour of the Uffizi Gallery with a Skip the line Service, visiting the main Uffizi masterpieces including Leonardo's art pieces which was not be included in the original itinerary. After the gallery visit, join a complimentary walking tour following the Vasari Corridor path (from the outside), crossing Ponte Vecchio and ending in Piazza Pitti, also known as the Medici Residence.
