Go on a journey through time in the walled town of San Gimignano, where you can taste some renowned local wines and traditional homemade sweets.

Both of the cities are very interesting places to now. Siena is bigger and our guide, for the english group, was really great to show us the main places of the city and to tell the history of the city. A good thing was that the group were splited , one for english and other for spanish. San gimignano is a very tiny medieval city, with towers and several stores, gelatos, cafes. Very good!

The tour to Siena and San Gimignano was superb. Stopping at just the two villages during a full-day tour gave us enough time to visit each. Siena Cathedral was a true spectacle. The towers of San Gimignano were also amazing, well worth climbing to catch the view. Guide Tiziana was a treat - it was a pleasure being able to share the day with her as she explained the history of the region. I highly recommend this tour.

A great day out and a break from Florence. Siena is a nice place to walk around and has some good architecture. San Gimignano is lovely little town with some lovely views. Worth walking up the tower.

Amazing tour. Siena and San Gimignano are very beautiful and I did feel in a medieval movie. The guides of the agency are also very good.

It was a great one-day excursion. Our guide worked very hard speaking 3 languages.

Well organized tour. We had sufficient free time in Siena to do some shopping and to have lunch.

The tour was run by a company operating in Florence since the 1950s. Our experience was excellent. A guide from Florence was in charge, and she was organized and intelligent. In Siena, we English-speakers were guided by a native, Adele, who had studied art history at university. She was outstanding. Lunch with the group in Siena was optional. Although these tour lunches can be pretty bad, this one took us to an appealing restaurant that we might have chosen on our own, and the meal itself was a good value, including a Tuscan soup that I wouldn't have tried on my own, but did, in fact, enjoy. A good package for a day trip from Florence.

The tour was well organised and left on time. The guide in Siena was particularly good as she was from the city and obviously had a passion for it. All in all a grand day out and we would highly recommend it.
