Morro Branco Beach and Fontes Park Tour

Five kilometers from Fortaleza, you’ll find the district of Beberibe just off the eastern seacoast of Ceara. Frequently used as a filming location for various television and movie productions, Morro Branco and Praia das Fontes manage to convey a perfect combination between rustic beauty and classy sophistication. Morro Branco is also world famous for its handmade works of art created inside glass containers.

Here, the tourists are driven by local guides into the sand labyrinths that cover the Ceara seascape. These labyrinths are formed by dunes and cliffs from which different colored sands are harvested. Nearby, we find many bodies of fresh water that flow from the barriers of Praia das Fontes beach.

Among the cliff and ponds, visitors can marvel at a panoramic view of the sea magnificently spread out for their enjoyment. The Praia das Fontes Park and Resort is also found in this area. This seaside resort offers a restaurant, swimming pools, a mini water park, and an unforgettable buggy ride that takes tourists to grottoes, dunes and the largest pond on the coast of Ceara: the pond of Uruau.
