What To Expect
Come with us to the Southwest of Bavaria to see the most visited castle of our country:
Neuschwanstein, perched high up on a mountain in the beautiful landscape of the Alps.
"Mad" King Ludwig II realized this architectural dream and it became world famous.
The majestic facade conceals an unbelievable splendor of the interior: very precious furniture, sumptuous appointments and masterly craftsmanship. A special castle guide will accompany you through Neuschwanstein and explanations are provided in 16 different languages. Do not miss the opportunity for a private stroll in the marvelous surroundings and capture this impressive scenery.
The journey will continue to gorgeous Linderhof Palace, which also belongs to King Ludwigs II Royal Bavarian Castles. This is the only one he lived to see completed. The Palace, although much smaller than Neuschwanstein, also displays a unique Neo-Rococo splendor and reflects King Ludwigs fascination of the French Ancient Régime. In 1867 he visited the palace of Versailles and this impression largely influenced the style of the construction and decoration. Enjoy an indoor visit with a castle guide.
