What To Expect
Athens is a fascinating city than can be intimidating for a first timer. Save yourself the stress and worry and discover the city's most important landmarks and hidden treasures!
The tour starts at the Thission Train Station. From there, we'll head up towards the ancient hill, following the beautiful cobblestone pedestrian walkway of Dionyssiou Areopagitou. Pass by the Acropolis and stop at the Areios Pagos Rock where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the city.
We will then descend, admiring the spectacular view of Ancient Agora, which was once the commercial, political and religious center of Ancient Athens. We continue our walk through the heart of the historical center where you'll discover Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman traces.
Immerse yourself in the cobbled alleys of the Plaka neighborhood, with its distinct and atmospheric architecture before reaching the bustling city center. Here we'll explore the commercial side of the city and enjoy its multiple facets!
The tour slowly comes to an end as we wander around the flea market in Monastiraki Square. You are then free to continue exploring on your own or we can continue the walk until we reach the Thission area.

This tour does not include a guided tour to the Acropolis or any other archeological sites. If you wish for a tour by a licensed state guide we can arrange it upon request.
Tour may be taken in the afternoon to avoid the morning crowds. It is also possible to customize your itinerary upon request.
