Cape Sounion

We depart Athens for a wonderful drive along the scenic coastal road which affords a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf. We pass through some of Athens' most beautiful suburbs (Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, Varzika) on our way to Cape Sounion where you will visit the 5th century B.C. temple of Poseidon.

Witness one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the world. On a clear day, you can see at least seven islands. The Doric columns of local marble have 16 flutings instead of the usual 20. The precipice is a sheer 197 foot drop to the sea.

- Hotel pick-up must be pre-booked at least 24 hours before departure time.

After you book
Please print the electronic voucher sent to you. It contains the operator's complete contact details and local telephone numbers. Give the voucher to the operator on the day of the activity.

What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible.
