Full Day Athens plus Cape Sounion plus Delphi or Argolis

Our professional guides will take you to the center of the city, the Constitution Square - Syntagma, the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier. The National Library, the University, and the Bank of Greece are some of the contemporary and historical monuments you will pass by during your panoramic tour with our luxury air-conditioned car / minibus (transportation according to the number of persons of your party or according your request). Driving down Herod Atticus Street, you will see the Evzones in their traditional uniform and the Presidential Palace. On your way to the Acropolis you will see the Hadrian’s Arch, visit the Temple of Olympian Zeus and you will make a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in 1896. Finally, you will climb up the "Holly Rock" of Acropolis in order to visit the Parthenon, the Herodus Atticus Odeon, the Propylaia, the Temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheion. At the Museum of Acropolis you will see some of the major architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens.

Afterward, leave Athens for a wonderful drive along the scenic coastal road which affords a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf passing through some of Athens' most beautiful suburbs (Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, Varzika) to Cape Sounion where you will visit the 5th century B.C. temple of Poseidon with one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the world and on a clear day you can see at least seven islands.

In Delphi, pass by Thebes and Arachova on the way to Delphi, with a short stop at Livadeia, home of the Super League Greece team the Levadiakos.

Visit the Museum of Delphi and see the famous statues such as the Charioteer of Delphi, one of the best preserved examples of classical bronze casts. Admire other artifacts such as the Sphinx of Naxos, the Statue of Antinoos and wonder at the magnificent Ancient Sanctuary of Apollo. We will also stop at the picturesque mountain village of Arachova, one of the highest towns in Greece and famous for its wine, cheese and attractive hand-woven carpets and quilts.

Instead of Delphi, you can go to Argolis and visit the Lion Gate, the Tomb of Agamemnon and the Palace. We will also visit the Ancient Theater before we return to Athens.

What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible.
