From the Central's Statue Square by the entrance to the subway, you will be able to take pictures of the many landmarks and iconic buildings. From the central business district, we then venture to the oldest outdoor street market of the city. We will also visit Hollywood Road, location of the Man Mo Temple, then the Cat Street flea market and finally the back streets of Sheung Wan area where you can capture a lot of "local color."
The walk will end at the Sheung Wan MTR station and with you armed with new photography knowledge and a collection of great H.K. photos showcasing the city's financial center and rich culture.
From the Central Ferry Piers (next to IFC 2), board the historical Star Ferry and cruise the harbour to Tsim Sha Tsui. Walk along the "Avenue of Stars" promenade and enjoy the breathtaking views of Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong island skyline across the water. Upon arrival in Tsim Sha Tsui, we proceed inland to Yaumatei and complete the walk at the Temple Street night market. Tour disbands at Jordan MTR station near the Temple Street night market.
Enter the world of Suzie Wong and explore the areas showcased in her story. Starting in the area famous as the setting for the novel, we visit the bustling Wan Chai street market. The butchers, fish vendors, fruit and vegetable stalls plus the incense, clothing, toys and other merchandise on display offer a lot of photo opportunities.
Down Queens Road, we walk to a small but very popular temple then up some iconic "ladder streets" and residential areas. We then make our way to Tin Hau via one of Hong Kong's famous trams (take pictures both in and out of the tram along the way) to visit the famous Causeway Bay Tin Hau Temple, dedicated to the goddess of the sea.

Participants must have basic knowledge of their cameras. A lightweight tripod is recommended for evening sessions.
Tours leave rain or shine. Please wear a pair of good walking shoes and bring a lightweight poncho in case it rains. A small bottle of water and sun hat is recommended for high temperatures.
Please remember to provide your hotel information and local contact number in Hong Kong upon booking to allow the guide to reach you before your tour date if necessary.
