What To Expect
A full day excursion to the former Portuguese colony Macau, which used to be the oldest European settlement in the Orient. The enclave was reunited with China as a Special Administrative Region in December 1999.
A 60-minute Catamaran journey brings you to the Monte Carlo of the Far East. We'll stop at the Statue of Kum Lam - the Goddess of Mercy. Afterward, we'll proceed to the Macau Tower where we will have an optional visit to the Observation Deck (if available).
Next, we'll explore the 400-year-old A-Ma Temple, a building inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list back in 2005. Afterward, we'll proceed for lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, head for a visit at the St. Paul's Ruins, a grand imposing facade which is the ruins of an early 16th-century church designed by Italians and built by Japanese Christian exiles. Walk down the picturesque cobblestone streets, past furniture shops and clothing factory outlets (for some shopping if time permits) to the main square - City Center of Senoda.
