Remains of San Ignacio Mini Jesuitical Mission are to be found 280 km from Foz do Iguacu. That is a sample of the great work of acculturation done by the Jesuit missionaries within the Guarani Nation. Traces of a self sufficient community with a political, social, cultural and educational order established. San Ignacio Mini represents a great Architectonic value of a historical moment and it is included as a World Heritage Site, as well as Trinidad and Jesus both in Paraguay. Built between 1609 and 1768 initially there were more than 80 missions but as of today only 30 are found distributed in Brazilian, Argentinean and Paraguayan territory. Among those, 8 are found in Paraguayan territory specially Trinidad, Santa Rosa and San Ignacio Guazu and San Ignacio Mini in Argentina.
