What To Expect
Day 1 Caesarea, Haifa, Acre and Rosh Hanikra
Exit north to Caesarea, the ancient Roman Capital and port, and go on a walking tour to see the theatre and archaeological ruins and excavations. Continue to Haifa and Mount Carmel for a scenic view of the Bahai garden, city and port. Drive to Rosh Hanikra to visit the limestone grottos and view the border with Lebanon.
Return via Acre to visit the Crusader underground city and crypt. Walk through the Old City market and then stay overnight at a hotel.
Day 2 Nazareth, Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee
Continue north via the plain of Armageddon to Nazareth. In Nazareth, we will visit the Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph's carpentry. We then drive past Kfer Cana to see the Mount of Beatitudes and Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish at Tabgha.
Stop to view the ruins of the ancient Synagogue of Capernaum and the City of Christ before driving via Tiberias to the site of the baptismal on the Jordan River.
Return via the scenic route with a view of Mount Tabor, the site of transfiguration.
