What To Expect
The visit to the Kuala Gandah Elephant Conservation Centre (Elephant Orphanage Sanctuary) is a must when you visit Kuala Lumpur. Under the care of the Malaysia Wildlife Society, the Elephant Orphanage Sanctuary - located in Kuala Gandah - serves as a natural rehabilitation center for orphaned elephants before they are released back into the wilds.
On arrival at the sanctuary, we will proceed to view an introductory video of the "elephant sanctuary" for you to understand in-depth the purpose of this project. You will have the opportunity to see the elephants roaming, bathing, and being fed at a certain time in the sanctuary, with the additional option of bathing and feeding the baby elephants yourself!* There will be earlier stops at Deerland Park** or an Aborigine Settlement before the Elephant Orphanage Sanctuary.
