Return to old court life at Heian Jingu Shrine and at Sanjusangendo. Marvel at superb city views from the terraces of Kiyumizudera. At nightfall join a tea ceremony and have a traditional Japanese dinner. Take a leisurely walk around Gion and you just might chance upon a lovely Maiko in her exquisite kimono.
