Lined with sake breweries, start the tour at one of Fushimi's largest sake breweries, Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum. Enjoy a guided tour of the brewery and learn about Japan's popular traditional drink. Check out Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum, have a glimpse of sake's brief history, browse through the interesting tools used in the traditional sake brewing process and get a chance to sample some of Japan's finest sake.
From Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum, head towards Fushimi Inari Shrine. Formerly the imperial capital of Japan, Kyoto is also known as the City of Ten Thousand Shrines. Take in the tranquility of the place as you stroll around and walk through the famous bright red Senbon Torii (One Thousand Gateways).
