Free Plan Takayama 2 days from Kyoto

Japan is not all big cities and temples. There are many interesting places in central Japan to explore. Takayama, referred to as “Little Kyoto,” has worked very hard to maintain its history and culture through the preservation of its old structures. It offers a relaxing environment in which to walk around. The thatched roof local village of Shirakawa-go has earned its place as a World Heritage site.

One day before
Train tickets and hotel voucher will be delivered to your hotel one day prior to departure.

Day 1 : Kyoto - Takayama
Transfer to Kyoto Station on your own and board a limited express train leaving between 8:00 - 8:40.
Arrive at Takayama between 12:00-12:20.
After arrival, free at leisure.
Overnight at Hotel Associa Takayama Resort or Takayama Green Hotel.

Day 2 : Takayama - Kyoto
Free at leisure until departure
Transfer to Takayama station on your own and board JR express train leaving between 15:30-15:50 and arrive at Kyoto between 19:20-20:00.

- Tour includes no assistant or guide service, you need to make a own transfer between hotel and Train Station and or elsewhere you want to visit.
- Requested to book 2 working days prior, with information of your staying place, address, phone number and check-in date for delivering tickets. (In case staying at personal residence, inform us name of landlord also.)
- Tickets are delivered to your hotel or staying place by 1 day before the departure day.
- If any change of you delivery address , please inform us by 8 working days prior.
- In case of cancel (or change) after you received your ticket, call the phone number on your confirmation voucher to return your ticket.
- Request for train reservation (such as departure / arrival time, seat number) is not acceptable.
- Baggage carriage not included. Please carry your baggage on your own.

After you book
Please print the electronic voucher sent to you. It contains the operator's complete contact details and local telephone numbers. Give the voucher to the operator on the day of the activity.

What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible.
