What To Expect
Take your breakfast with an early land transfer to Titicaca Lake, and board the catamaran cruise ship to Sun Island, the legendary birthplace of the Inca Empire. On board you will be served with lunch. Then see Challapampa Village and explore along with other visitors one of the most unspoiled indigenous Titicaca villages, through an innovative program organized by the local community to visit their own museum, chapel, school, and houses while sailing in their vessels to an Inca holy temple and walking through Inca trails.
Enjoy, too, a romantic candle light dinner and an overnight on board the catamaran, together with a lake view in the cabins which house some private facilities.
For the second day, we'll be sailing across the lake in the catamaran cruise ship while enjoying breakfast and the overwhelming panoramic view of the Pilkokaina Inca Palace. Then we'll be transferred to a huge Titicaca traditional vessel to visit the Inti Wata Cultural Complex and the Ekako Underground Museum. We shall proceed next to the display centers for traditional medicine and the Titikaka Reed Shipbuilders, together with the Pachamama agricultural Inca terraces, a handicraft center, and the Intica lounge. At the Manco Kapac we'll look out for the largest variety of Andean camelids. Then we'll take our snack in the Complex. Finally we shall visit the Inca Garden, the steps and the Inca fountain.
Finally we go back to the catamaran cruise headed to Chua harbor, but on board, we'll have our lunch. On land, we'll next be brought to La Paz City, where we shall arrive around evening.
