Built to harness the power of the Colorado River, the dam is one of the largest in the world, is greater in volume than the largest pyramid in Egypt, and produces more than 2,000 megawatts of hydroelectric power, supplying Nevada, California, Colorado and Arizona with a significant portion of their energy. In 1935 the construction costs topped $49 million - $676 million in today’s dollars. A visitors’ center provides views of Lake Mead, opportunities to learn more, to buy a gift, or simply to browse. What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible.
