Barbican Centre
Barbican centre is a commercial and cultural centre
wich possess an amazing winter garden on his roof.
Battersea Park This park was inaugurated
in 1858 in an area which was really unsafe and now it's
a pleasant park especially for bikers. A peace pagoda
was build in the park by buddhist monks in 1985.
Berkeley Square It was built in
the 1730's and a few houses from this period are still
here.
Bunhill Fields This is a cemetery
since 1665, the year of the big plague.
Chelsea Physic Garden It's a garden
dedicated to the study of medicinal plants. It was created
in 1673.
Chiswick House This palladian villa
has nice gardens open to public.
Fenton House The oldest manor of
Hampstead has nice garden with concerts in summer.
Gray's Inn It's one of the 4 barristers'
colleges in the city, and its gardens (where many duels
used to take place) are pleasant.
Green Park In the past, it was the
hunting area of Henry VIII. Now, the park is appreciated
by tourists from mayfair hotels.
Greenwich Park The park was part
of the royal palace, and became independant in 1433.
In the XVII th century, Andre Le Nôtre drew the
gardens of Greenwich park.
Ham House It's a beautiful house
on the Thames, with a nice garden.

with woods, grasslands, hills, and more.
Hampton Court This palace offers
a lot of great gardens, parks, a canal, and even a vine.
Highgate Cemetery The west of the
cemetery is under the influence of Victorian style,
whereas a part of the cemetery is called Egyptian avenue,
with Pharaon's style tombs.
The Hill garden Lord Everhulme created
this garden in the Edouardian period.
Holland Park In this park, there
are a japanese and a french gardens and many races of
birds.
Hyde Park This park is open to the
public since the XVII th century, with its artificial
lake and other concerts or politic manifestations.
Kensington Gardens Ancient gardens
of the palace, where you can find statues, fontains
and domestic animals.
Kenwood House The garden and the
orangery can be visited in this magnificient house.
Kew Gardens 40 000 different plants
and a greenhouses, a winter garden, a pagoda...
Lincoln's Inn Fields In this square,
many public executions took place during the Tudor and
Stuarts periods. Nowadays, the barristers come often
to play tennis.
Middle Temple In temple church,
the middle temple is a very nice church with lawns until
the Thames.

of course an outdoor garden.
