RUNNYMEDE - We will see where King John was forced to seal the Magna Carta in June 1215.

WINDSOR AND ETON - The cobbled streets of Windsor have many interesting buildings dating from the 17th century. The Old King’s Head, is said to be where William Shakespeare wrote "The Merry Wives of Windsor" and just before Windsor Bridge is Sir Christopher Wren's House, which was the family home of the famous architect. Across the bridge lies famous Eton College founded in 1440, during the reign of Henry VI.

WINDSOR CASTLE - Windsor is the largest and oldest occupied castle in the world, the home of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Your visit includes Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House, the most famous dolls’ house in the world, and St George’s Chapel.

HAMPTON COURT PALACE - Set on the banks of the River Thames surrounded by parkland, the earliest remaining buildings date back nearly 500 years. Henry VIII rebuilt and extended the buildings and all the subsequent royals stayed here, until it was used to imprison Charles I during the Civil War. We will see the state apartments, containing a large part of the Queen's art collection , and also visit the spectacular formal gardens, set in over 60 acres. To commemorate the 500th anniversary of his accession to the throne, there will be an exhibition entitled' Henry's Women", about his six wives and his dynastic quest with rarely seen portraits of each of the wives and Henry’s wedding, a re-enactment of his marriage to Catherine Parr, his sixth wife.

EXCLUSIVE FEATURE - Enjoy either a 15 minute horse drawn carriage ride by Shire horse in the formal gardens or a ride by land train.

HAMPTON COURT GARDENS - You'll see the Privy Gardens, manicured masterpieces of garden design completed in 1702 for William III, and the formal East Front Gardens. Other gardens to visit include the South Gardens and the Lower Orangery. The Maze, planted in 1702 covers an area of one third of an acre, and is definitely worth visiting. For 2009, Henry's garden will be created which takes its inspiration from the defining features of the Tudor Court garden.
