Avila and Segovia Full Day Tour

Avila is one of the oldest cities in Spain and the best example of a fortified city as it is surrounded by well-preserved medieval walls built sometime in the 11th century. It is also the birthplace of St. John of the Cross, 4th century theologian Priscillian and St. Therese, source of Spanish Catholic mysticism. The quarters hold an important number of Romanesque Churches, Gothic Palaces and a 12th century Cathedral, the last Gothic one built in Spain.

Visit the outskirts of the Cathedral, the Romanesqu Basilica of san Vicente, Mayor square and a brief walk through its old streets to see the Convent of St. Therese.

Proceed to the city of Segovia and have lunch in the old Roman city that still preserves the Roman Aqueduct from the time of Emperor Augustus. The city is also the location of an elegant Cathedral, an Alcazar fortress and the most spectacular castle in Spain.

That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible.
