What To Expect
Chichen Itza, a holy place for the Mayans for centuries, is the most famous of all late Mayan cities. Here you get to enjoy two full hours of a local guided tour, and get free time to re-enter on your own.
The earliest buildings date from 600 A.D. Those built from the 10th century onward, which include Toltec symbols and styles, were a result of the Toltec invasion in 950 A.D. This merging of Maya and Toltec architectural style is unique to Chichen Itza.
Furthermore into your historical journey, your semi-private tour also includes a visit to the Mayaland's Planetarium. Here, you'll hear stories and legends of the creation of the Mayan world.
You'll also get a buffet lunch and free access of facilities to the best hotel in the area - Hotel Mayaland. Enjoy the lounge by the swimming pool and enjoy some R&R at the botanical gardens.
