2008 ITINERARY / ACTIVITY SCHEDULE
Day 01- Arrival Transfer
Welcome at the Mexico City "Benito Juarez" international airport, transfer to the hotel of
your choice and accommodation.

Day 02 - Mexico City
In the morning we will start our five hour Tour, Visiting the Basilica Of our lady of Guadalupe.
From there we will continue to the Famous Archaeological site of Teotihuacan, where we will get to know the Monumental Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, The Temple of Quetzalpapalotl, The Citadel and the Avenue of the Dead. Return to the hotel.

Day 03 - Mexico / Guanajuato
In the morning we will set for the colonial city of Guanajuato and, on the way, we will visit the typical town of San Juan del Rio, where we can admire a variety of precious stones and metals such as gold, silver and alpaca. From there we carry on towards the City of Queretaro, famous for its impressive Aqueduct and Colonial Palaces and then we continue to San Miguel de Allende, a colonial town, which because of its famous Neogothic Parish Church
Hundreds of Stores and its Typical cobbled streets, is renowned world wide and we finish our trip in Guanajuato; Arrival and accommodation.

Day 04 - Guanajuato / Guadalajara
At indicated time, we will make the city tour, visiting the "Pipila" panoramic viewing terrace, the Granaditas corn exchange, the basilica of our lady of Guanajuato, the romantic “Callejon del Beso”(kissing alley), its amazing subterranean streets and the museumpantheon of the mummies of Guanajuato. We will then travel towards the shoe capital. The city of Leon, famous for shoe manufacturing and its variety of shoe stores. From there we set out for San Juan de los Lagos catholic sanctuary and the pearl of state of Jalisco: the city of Guadalajara; arrival and accommodation.

Day 05 - Guadalajara
We will start the day by touring around some of the most important points in the city, such as: the government palace, the Guadalajara Cathedral, The Degollado theater, the Tapatia plaza and the popular market of San Juan de Dios, traditional for its arts and crafts. Later on we will continue to the typical district of Tlaquepaque, Birth Place of the Mariachi and Zapopan Basilica; Return to hotel.

Day 06 - Guadalajara / Patzcuaro
In the morning we will set out very early to cross the area of the Tarascans heading for the city of Patzcuaro, ancient capital of the state of Michoacan, where we will visit the picturesque lake and its traditional Island of Janitzio; In route we will see the Archaeological City of Tzin Tzun
Tzan and its Monastery.

Day 07 - Patzcuaro / Morella / Mexico City
At the time indicated we will start our journey to the city of Morella, considered to be one of the most beautiful of the colonial era, where we will have the opportunity to admire its monumental cathedral, the government palace, Martyrs´ square and the typical candy market, as well as the famous aqueduct and the chapel of our lady of Guadalupe. We will go on to city of Toluca, along the modern "Paseo Tollocan" (Toluca avenue). In route to Mexico City, we will pass through the la Marquesa National Park. Arrival and accommodation.

Day 08 - Mexico City
In the morning we will start the 4 hr. City tour, visiting the national palace, where we will see its beautiful murals, painted by the great muralist Diego Rivera, constitution square (The Central Plaza or "Zocalo" ) and the Metropolitan Cathedral as well as some of the main avenues. We will later visit Chapultepec park and one of the most important residential areas of Mexico city, in addition to the “Pink Zone” (Zona Rosa). Return to the hotel and rest of the day free.

Day 09 - Mexico City / Taxco
Early in the morning we will travel to Cuernavaca, the city of eternal springtime, so called on account of its warm climate practically the whole year round. There we will see one of the oldest cathedrals on The American Continent, The Palace of Cortes, etc. From there we will carry on to the beautiful City of Taxco, "World Silver Capital", where we will see the famous Parish Church of Santa Prisca with its impressive Churriguerresque style. We will walk through Taxco´s lovely cobbled streets, where we will be able to admire the silverwork made by our craftsmen. Arrival and accommodation.

Day 10 - Taxco / Acapulco
At the time indicated we will depart for the paradise beach resort of Acapulco. Arrival and accommodation at the hotel of your choice. afternoon free.

Day 11 - Acapulco
At the time indicated we will set out for the pier to board the yacht "Bonanza", which will take us on a three hour trip around the beautiful Acapulco bay (this includes free bar for domestic drinks). We will be able to admire the Residential areas where famous and distinguished local and international actors live, the traditional "Quebrada" and its cliff divers and the bay of Puerto Marquez. (Transfer to the cruise is not included)

Day 12 - Acapulco / Mexico City
At the time indicated return to Mexico City, transfer and hotel accommodation. (Land transportation from Acapulco to Mexico City is not included)

Day 13 - Mexico City
Free day for your own activities.

Day 14 - Departure Transfer
At the time indicated, transfer to the airport to board your return flight home.

DAY 02 - SATURDAY - MEXICO CITY

Metropolitan Cathedral as well as some of the main avenues. Later, we will visit Chapultepec
Park and one of the most important Residential areas of Mexico City, and the "Pink
Zone". Overnight.

DAY 03 - SUNDAY- MEXICO / MORELIA / PATZCUARO
Breakfast. We will start our city tour visiting the Cultural and Historic Heritage downtown

DAY 04 - MONDAY - PATZCUARO / GUADALAJARA
Breakfast. Visit the House of the Eleven Patios, the cathedral of our lady of health, the
Gertrudis Bocanegra Library –with its murals painted by famous muralist Juan O'Gorman-, the Don Vasco de Quiroga Plaza and its typical Indian market; continue to Guadalajara.
Overnight.

DAY 05 - TUESDAY - GUADALAJARA / TEQUILA / TLAQUEPAQUE / GUADALAJARA
Breakfast. Departure to the “Tequila” region, that is also a cultural and historic heritage site; at the Amatitlán village visitors will go to the Hacienda San José del Refugio, which hosts one of the country’s best Tequila distilleries, to see the whole manufacturing tequila process. After this visit, we continue to San Pedro Tlaquepaque, where its inhabitants are dedicated to glassblowing manufacturing and all kinds of handicrafts. Overnight.

DAY 06 -WEDNESDAY - GUADALAJARA / GUANAJUATO
Breakfast. The day starts at the historical district visiting the Degollado Theater, the Cathedral, the main square, the Government Palace and the Cabanas Orphanage with their famous murals painted by Orozco, which are cultural and historic heritage sites. Continue to Guanajuato and accommodation at your Hotel.

DAY 07 - THURSDAY - GUANAJUATO / SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE
Breakfast. The tour starts at the world’s cultural and historic heritage town of Guanajuato,
visiting the Basílica, the University, its mansions, its temples, its picturesque and narrow Colonial streets, its underground streets (former riverbeds) and the famous Callejon del Beso (The Kissing Alley). Continue to San Miguel de Allende, arrival and visit to the city recently named a world cultural and historic heritage site by UNESCO, which has beautiful Colonial mansions, colonial streets and alleys, impressive colonial churches and its new Gothic style Parish church at the main square, symbol of this beautiful City. Overnight.

DAY 08 - FRIDAY - SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE / QUERETARO / MEXICO CITY
Breakfast. Departure to Querétaro, which is also a cultural and historic heritage site to visit its cathedral its convents, its mansions, its streets, squares and the alleys, and the world famous convent of the crosses. Return to Mexico City, arrival at your hotel. Overnight.

DAY 09 -SATURDAY - MEXICO CITY
Breakfast. Day at leisure, to enjoy the city or take an optional tour

DAY 10 - SUNDAY - MEXICO CITY / TAXCO
Breakfast. Today we will travel to Cuernavaca, the City of Eternal Springtime, for a panoramic
tour of the city, visiting one of the oldest Cathedrals on the American continent, the Palace of Cortes, etc. Continue to the beautiful city of Taxco "World Silver Capital", to see the famous parish church of Santa Prisca with its impressive baroque Churriguerresque style; we will walk through Taxco´s lovely cobble stoned streets and admire the silverart.

DAY 11 - MONDAY - TAXCO / ACAPULCO
Breakfast . We will depart to the paradise port of Acapulco; arrival and accommodation at the hotel of your choice. Afternoon free.

DAY 12 - TUESDAY - ACAPULCO

Take the "Bonanza", yacht cruise on a three hour trip around the beautiful bay (it includes an open free domestic drink bar onboard). to admire the Residential areas where famous and distinguished, local and international actors live, the traditional "Quebrada" home of world renowned high cliff divers and the bay of Puerto Marquez. (Transfers to the bay cruise not included). Overnight

DAY 13 - WEDNESDAY - ACAPULCO / MEXICO CITY
Breakfast. At the time indicated return to Mexico City, (land transportation back to Mexico City not included). Accommodation
