Day 1
Your arrival to Moscow. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 2
After breakfast, go on a sightseeing tour of Moscow.

Familiarize yourself with the city's nearly 900 years of history. Walk the Red Square, view the Kremlin, see old convents, visit Russia's main cathedral, and take a look at Moscow State University and Sparrow Hills. See where important cultural events unfolded. Learn about hte Russian Ballet School when viewing Bolshoy, know where and how Stanislavsky Acting School was established, see where Leo Tolstoy and other writers lived.

You will have time to have lunch in a nice restaurant (not included in package rate) before we proceed to the airport to depart for Irkutsk.

Day 3
Arrive at Irkutsk. Transfer to the city center and get your accommodations with a host family.

You will be given home entertainment (tea nad baked goods). Go on a sightseeing city tour and see the historical center with its ancient rock and wooden tracery houses, visit the Museum of the Decembrists or the Museum of Regional Studies (your choice).

Have dinner then overnight in Irkutsk.

Day 4
After breakfast, depart for Petrovo (at 09:00), where you will enjoy ethnic Russian cuisine for lunch at the Buryat.

After lunch, you'll use a Russian off-road vehicle "UAZ" to go to Krevstovsky Cape. You'll be met by the hospitable owners of a farm.

Krestovsky Cape is the most remarkable place at the western coast of Baikal between Buguldejka and Small Sea.

After the off-road excursion, you will go to Sagan-Hushun Cape where you'll see petroglyphs on white marble rocks. You will then go back to Krestovsky Bay, have dinner and stay overnight at Krevstovsky Cape.

Russian baths are optional and not included in the package rate.

Day 5
After breakfast, there will be a vehicular excursion to Taxheransky Steppe, the Stone Spirits Valley. According to legends, the white and black soldier-shamans who did not want to reconcile were transformed by the Supreme God into stone sculptures. Have picnic lunch then return to Krestovsky Cape. Enjoy some free time before dinner.

Day 6
After breakfast, take a walking tour to an observation point at Dajn-Hoshun Mountain. A magnificent view of the south and Goloustnog and the north and Olkhon Island awaits you. The traces of an ancient fortress of the Kurykhan epoch (6th to 9th century) are still on the mountain.

Have lunch before going back to Petrovo by "UAZ" and then switching to an automobile to get to Irkutsk, where you will stay the night.

Day 7
Travel to Listvyanka after breakfast. Stop over at "Talsti", the Museum of Architecture and Ethnography. It is located on the side of the Angara River along the picturesque road to Baikal Lake. It will get you acquainted with the culture of both the Russians and the native population(s) of the Baikal region, such as the Buryaty, Evenky and Tafalarv.

Once you arrive at Listvyanka, go to the Museum of Baykal where you'll see a unique pond inhabited by Baikal fish and seals. Have dinner then head on to the local market to taste a smoked omul (Baikal fish) and buy souvenirs.

Day 8
At 10:00, depart for the ferry quay and go to the settlement, Port Baykal. Board the train at 11:00 and then have lunch at the Polovinnaya Station. Continue your rail travel until you arrive at Irkutsk Station at 22:30. Transfer to the city center then stay over night in Irkutsk.

Day 9
Have breakfast then transfer to the airport or railway station, where the tour will end.
