Nagoya Afternoon

Learn about Nagoya, famous for both its historical and commercial value. Visit the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology, built in celebration of Toyota founder Kiichiro Toyota’s 100th birthday, detailing the history of the company. Proceed to Nagoya Castle, the symbol of Nagoya and originally built in 1612 by Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu. From its observation deck on the top floor, you can get both a sweeping view of the city and go through
the many exhibits about life in feudal Japan.

Itinerary / Activity Schedule

Assemble at Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel.

Transfer to Toyota City by public transportation.

Visit Toyota Kaikan Exhibition Hall and Toyota Moter Plant.

Enjoy a Western-style lunch.

Transfer back to Nagoya by public transportation.

The tour will disband on arrival at Nagoya Station between 15:30 and 16:30.

Nagoya Castle
The symbol of Nagoya built in 1612 by Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu. Famous for the Golden Shachi ( Dolphins ) on its roof.

In the main Castle tower, you can see the objects related to the Owari Tokugawa family.

Tour disband on arrival at JR Nagoya Station between 16:00-16:40.
