Itinerary
Day 1 : NAGOYA - TAKAYAMA
Assemble at Hotel Associa Nagoya Terminal at 11:40 and board a Limited express for Takayama leaving between 12:00-12:30.
Arrive at Takayama between 14:00-14:30.
Afternoon, stroll through Takayama visiting Yatai Kaikan Hall,where colorfully decorated traditional festival floats are displayed,
Kusakabe Folkcraft Museum, formerly the residence of powerful merchants under government patronage, and Kami Sannomachi street,
which preserve traditional Japanese wooden houses.
Overnight at Hida Hotel Plaza.
Day 2 : TAKAYAMA - SHIRAKAWAGO - KANAZAWA
Visit the famous morning market of Takayama. Scenic drive by Lake Miboro and along Shogawa river to Shirakawago, designated as
World Heritage. Its highlights are unique structures called Gassho-Zukuri, or joined-hands farmhouses. Then visit Gokayama, another
World Heritage village,where you can experience making traditional Japanese paper. Tour continues to Kanazawa.

Day 3: KANAZAWA - NAGOYA
Morning sightseeing of Kanazawa, visiting Kenrokuen Garden, one of Japan's three most beautiful gardens; Kutaniyaki Pottery kiln; and Higashi-cyaya street and Former Guest House “Shima”.
Afternoon, limited-express to Nagoya leaving between 14:30-15:00.
Arrive at Nagoya between 17:00-18:00.

- Standard class accommodations is at Hida Hotel Plaza (standard room) for Takayama and Kanazawa Miyako Hotel or Kanazawa Excel Hotel Tokyu for Kanazawa.
- Deluxe class accommodations is at Hida Hotel Plaza (deluxe room) for Takayama and ANA Crowne Plaza Kanazawa for Kanazawa.
- Unless specified as "Japanese-style room" in the tour itinerary or this hotel list, Western-style two-bedded room is provided.
- We recommend you to prepare casual attire and comfortable shoes suitable for the walking tour on Day 1, and also to bring an overcoat or any warm clothing for winter season from October, chilly month, to February, snowy month.
- This tour is offered for travellers from overseas only.
- When "Former Toyama Family Residence" is closed, or when snow is heavy in winter visit "Gassho-Zukuri Folklore Park" instead.
- Lake Miboro may be skipped due to heavy snow in winter.
- Guide: English speaking assistant or guide service is provided, except during onboard express trains between Nagoya and Takayama, Kanazawa and Nagoya.
- Baggage carriage not included. Please carry your baggage on your own. However, baggage space on train is so limited and we recommend to carry a light overnight bag with you.
