Free Plan Kyoto 1 Day from Nagoya

Kyoto is Japan’s capital from 794 to 1868. Spend your morning visiting Nijo Castle, the residence of Tokugawa era shoguns, the gold-leaf covered Golden Pavilion, and the exquisite garden surrounding it. See Kyoto Imperial Palace and watch traditional artisans working their craft at the Kyoto Handicraft Center, where you can also purchase local items. In the afternoon, you can explore the city at your own pace. You Will be visiting the following places by bus.

One day before
Train tickets and hotel voucher will be delivered to your hotel one day prior to departure.

Nagoya - Kyoto - Nagoya
Transfer to Nagoya Station on your own and board a Shinkansen Kodama for Kyoto leaving between 07:10 - 07:20.
Arrive at Kyoto
After arrival, join Kyoto Morning Tour.
Visit Nijo Castle, golden Pavilion and Kyoto Imperial Palace.
After arrival at Kyoto Handicraft Center, free at leisure.

Transfer to Kyoto Station on your own and board a Shinkansen Kodama (Non Reserved Seat) for Nagoya leaving between 20:40 - 21:20.
Arrival at Nagoya Station between 21:40 - 23:10.

Please note
- These tours are offered for travelers from overseas only.
- Tour includes no assistant or guide service, you need to make a own transfer between hotel and Train Station and or elsewhere you want to visit.
- Requested to book 2 working days prior, with information of your staying place, address, phone number and check-in date for delivering tickets. (In case staying at personal residence, inform us name of landlord also.)
- Tickets are delivered to your hotel or staying place by 1 day before the departure day.
- If any change of you delivery address , please inform us by 8 working days prior.
- In case of cancel (or change) after you received your ticket, call the phone number on your confirmation voucher to return your ticket.
- Request for train reservation (such as departure / arrival time, seat number) is not acceptable.
- Baggage carriage not included. Please carry your baggage on your own.
- The tour finishes at the Handicraft Center, with transport back to guest's hotels provided by the Handicraft Center. Buses to major hotels depart every hour on the hour from 13:00 until 15:00, and upon request after that.
- Guests joining the Kyoto Afternoon or Nara Afternoon tour should transfer at the Handicraft Center.
- At the "Nijo Castle", on every Tuesdays in Jan., Jul., Aug. & Dec., "Nijo Castle" is closed and you will visit "Ryoanji Temple" instead.
- At the Kyoto Imperial Palace, on every Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays and some other days, Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed and you will visit "Nishi Honganji" instead.
- To enter the Kyoto Imperial Palace, you are required to fill out the form (your name, sex, age, nationality).
- On Sat., Sun & National Holidays, reserved seat may be used for transfer by shinkansen.

After you book
Please print the electronic voucher sent to you. It contains the operator's complete contact details and local telephone numbers. Give the voucher to the operator on the day of the activity.

What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible.
