Large, high-speed catamarans provide a relaxing and scenic tour of Nassau's famous harbor as you cruise to the private island home of friendly dolphins and sea lions. The extraordinary all-natural habitat of the animals is apparent from the moment the boat enters the hidden lagoon to reveal lush, tropical, pristine surroundings.

The Close Encounter program is a must for visitors, delivering excitement and unforgettable memories. Once there, learn all about these amazing marine mammals in waist-high water where you interact one-on-one with the dolphins. In this intimate setting, you can touch, kiss, hug and dance with our friendly dolphins. This is an incredible opportunity to learn more about marine mammals as you are encouraged to ask questions as you make friends with dolphins that are native to Bahamian waters. It's the chance of a lifetime to meet dolphins face-to-face in their natural surroundings in one of our award-winning programs.

Six California sea lions that lost their home after Hurricane Katrina also now call Blue Lagoon Island their home. Be sure to visit their large, all natural habitat.

Please Note
- Guests staying at Paradise Island Hotels will meet at the dolphin check-in booth located in the Ferry Terminal on Paradise Island.
- Transportation for guests staying in Downtown and Cable Beach hotels can be arranged with an additional charge.
- Children age 3 or younger receive free admission if accompanied in the program by a participating paying adult (parent or guardian at least 18 years of age).
- Children age 4-12 pay normal price and must be accompanied by a participating paying adult.
- Vouchers must be redeemed at the time of check-in to be valid

- Dolphin Encounters reserves the right to refuse service to any guest under the influence of alcohol or any illegal drugs.
- Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the property.
- The trip departs rain or shine! No refunds for bad weather will be issued unless Dolphin Encounters cancels the excursion.

3. Enter basic travel, name, and payment information in the Check-out Form.

Upon booking, you will receive a voucher by email containing all details about the tour. You can check the status of your booking at anytime.

After you book
Please print the electronic voucher sent to you. It contains the operator's complete contact details and local telephone numbers. Give the voucher to the operator on the day of the activity.

What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible. The appropriate amount will be credited back to your credit card account. Contact our Customer Service for help with changes or cancellations. Or read our Cancellation Policy.
