What To Expect
Visit New York's Ground Zero and 9/11 Memorial with your expert guide who was there at day and witnessed the event. This tour will be initiated wit meetups at the designated meeting point.
First on the itinerary of this tour is a visit to the St. Paul's Chapel which was miraculously unharmed during the attack. Even with a distance a block away from the falling debris of the building, this church managed to stay intact. It became a temporary rescue center after the attack and received thousands of mementos from people from all parts of the world as a sign of empathy for those affected.
Next on the itinerary is a visit to the former site of the World Trade Center in New York which was taken down by the 9/11 terrorist attack. Listen to your guide's personal stories of his connection to the tragic event as well as the testimonies coming from everyday citizens during that time.
Admire the bravery of the emergency responders and firefighters at the Firefighter's 9/11 Memorial Wall as you hear stories of how they gave up their lives for the sake of the victims. You may also see the fire station, Engine and Ladder Company 10/10, at Ground Zero.
Come and reflect at the 9/11 Memorial where the Reflecting Absence Memorial stands. This memorial is dedicated to all those who have lost their lives during the attack. The names of nearly 3,000 victims are engraved around this man-made waterfall.
Catch glimpses of the newly-constructed Freedom Towers and World Trade Center around the area. Enjoy your free time roaming this green 8 acre area for as long as you like.
