What To Expect
Upon arrival in Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love, we begin with a panoramic tour including Chinatown, Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Elfreths Alley (the oldest inhabited street in America) and continue with a view of the famous Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, one of the many symbols of freedom in America.
Depart New York through New Jersey and Pennsylvania to the "City of Brotherly Love," Philadelphia. Upon arrival, we visit first Liberty Bell, Constitution Square and historic Congress Hall, before taking a stroll at Elfreth's Alley and continuing on with the panoramic tour. Before leaving Philadelphia, we will see the famous "Rocky Steps."
We continue on to Lancaster County, home of the Amish community. After a break for lunch on our own at the Amish Marketplace, we enjoy an authentic Amish buggy ride through the farm country. Learn how the community lives without the benefit of modern technology, no electricity, running water, telephone service or appliances. Finally, we depart in the late afternoon for an evening arrival in New York City.
