The Garment Center "Insider" Shopping Tour takes you on a "behind-the-scenes" shopping expedition to the epicenter of the fashion industry. You will be escorted to 6 appointment only Designer Showrooms (not accessible to the public) to shop exactly where department & boutique store buyers and fashion editors shop. You'll have access to WHOLESALE prices just like them.
Shopping is for current season "better wear" and designer apparel and accessories (handbags, belts, jewelry, scarves) at 50-70% below retail. The designers we work with are a combination of household & emerging names, which is where the excitement begins! Best not to come with an item in mind, but rather to shop and buy pieces you have never seen before and will be thrilled to have in your wardrobe.
You will have the opportunity to meet a designer or two in their showroom, learn interesting tidbits about the fashion industry and the history of this fascinating district, and see iconic spots such as where the Project Runway contestants are housed. If there is a fabulous Sample Sale on the day of your tour, we will take you there!

- This tour is for women's items only. However, we offer a special price for men who wish to join the tour. Please inquire.
- Showrooms and Sample Sales carry traditional women's sizes 0 to 12. Occasionally size 14 is available. We cannot accommodate "special sizes".
- Some showrooms do not accept credit cards.
- The maximum number of participants for this tour is 12 for a personalized experience.
- This tour is recommended for ages 18 and above. Children under 10 go free. Only 1 child per paying adult.
- Some showrooms and sample locations are industrial feeling spaces.
- Tours will run rain or shine and require walking, so please dress appropriately and wear comfortable shoes.
- Please be at the meeting point no later than 10 minutes before departure. The tour group will not wait for latecomers.
- Tours in Russian are available (may be subject to guide availability and additional charges). Please inquire.

After you book
Please print the electronic voucher sent to you. It contains the operator's complete contact details and local telephone numbers. Give the voucher to the operator on the day of the activity.
What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible.
