"The most noble and loyal City of Antequera", now the City of Oaxaca de Juárez, the capital of the state of Oaxaca, has been under the moral protection of the UNESCO since 1987. The historic center of the city consists of 227 blocks that cover approximately five square kilometers. It contains 26 colonial era temples, five convents and a wide variety of civil structures, which exhibit all the architectural styles from the 16th to the 20th century.
We will start with a walking tour of the central market and then go on to the unequaled "Zocalo" or Main Square. From there, we continue to the Government Palace and the Cathedral.
