What To Expect
Get to see Ottawa's must see spots in half a day! Bicycling along the canal pathway, you will hear about the history of the canal, make a short detour visit to the Glebe, pass by some of the Locks, Carleton University and visit beautiful Hog's back Falls.
Continuing on the Rideau Canal, you will visit the spectacular Arboretum, Fletcher Wild Life Garden, and the Experimental Farm and see the Canada Food and Agriculture Museum.
Be ready for a delicious lunch in trendy Little Italy and Dow's Lake.
A short ride will bring you to the beautiful Ottawa River pathway. Bicycling back along Sir John A. MacDonald Parkway to Downtown you will see even more of Ottawa's attractions including the War Museum. Taking a detour to the province of Quebec, you will see a spectacular view of Downtown Ottawa. Bicycling back to our starting point you will see the National Gallery of Canada, Byward Market and the Parliament Hill!
