I was VERY disappointed in this tour. The speaker system in the van was not working. We did ask him to speak louder but he did not. The back of the van was stuffy, so we asked for the air conditioning but he didn't seem to know how to work it. We would have opened the window but one of the passengers was having allergy problems so we couldn't. The guide did not assist us out of the van, even though it was obvious two of us had knee problems. He offered very little background information. .We got more from our taxi driver from the airport. My husband and I took a similar tour a few years ago and were very pleased(from Citirama).I have never complained before about a tour before and have always given a tip...not this time.I do not think this guide wanted to be there. The knowledge and personal service was great. We were a little annoyed that it took so long to pick up the other party on the tour however overall it was great. Too bad the weather was so terrible!

Boat was crowded. A large, very boisterous school group was on the trip and cruise staff did nothing to control the inappropriate behavior. Would definitely not use CityDiscovery for this again.

We did the tour that included dinner at the Eiffel Tower, Cruise on Seine + Moulin Rouge. The only problem was that we were late getting into the Eiffel Tower due the queue so we had to rush through dinner. We didnt have enough time to enjoy it. Other than that it was a great night!

Excellent way to see the sights in a short space of time. All staff were very helpful even when we had to report at the end that one of our headsets was a bit temperamental. They were very apologetic and said they'd get it sorted. Would definately use them again.

All the headphone slots we tried didn't work. the busses were apparently going to be ten minutes apart but we had to wait over twenty five minutes on two separate occasions. One of the busses we were on even ended up in a car accident!! All that said, it seemed to take in all the major sights and we like the open top busses in any event. Needs work to improve the basics of relability though....

There was a huge delay between the cruise and the illumination tour. We were waiting in the bus till 10:30 PM but the Illumination tour did not start even by then. So we were forced to quit and called off from the Illumination tour. Half the money wasted for us as there was no refund given to us. I am disappointed.

It was very nice and gave us a break from the city. I wish for the pick up scheduling that they staggered the timing to tell people about the pickup. We were told it was at 6:30 am and to wait 10 minures before that. The minibus did not show up till 7:00 am and apparently all the people on it were scheduled at 6:30 am. The guides were very good and our engish guide inside the castles was very funny.

Bus very comfortable and an easy ride.Must be prepared to walk and climb stairs especially at Chambord.Bit disorganised at end as tour co. did not seem to realise drop back to hotel was included.Did not matter to us as we wanted to walk back anyway.

The above rating is with the following proviso. The show was excellent. However, we were disappointed by the quality and presentation of food. We also booked table for 4 and we had other people on our table which marred our view.
However, the show was a treat. We shall omit the 'dinner dance' next time and do just the show, unless things improve. The service by City Discovery was excellent. Paul Brincau

Well organised and the coach dropped us back at our hotel without a problem. The show was spectacular and very enjoyable. Food was basic, but fine considering the amount of people catered for and it was nice that there was a choice of menu. Worth telling people in advance not to bother taking cameras.

sparkling tower was a lovely surprise: perfect timimg by the driver. Excellent, clear commentary. Would have preferred an open top bus as the views were often obscured but obviously that is dependent on each day's weather.

I really enjoyed the tour, we only had a few hours to tour the louvre and this was the best way to hit the major points and learn a lot in the process. We would have been so lost on our own. Our guide was friendly and very funny. Thanks!
